This month, Ayca Gillett, originally from Turkey and now living in Tokyo for 12 years, tells us about Aicha’s Flowers.
Tell us about your business Aicha’s Flowers is a project that combines Color Therapy with the Spiritual Healing Power of Flowers. Our handmade products have revived a very traditional Turkish handcraft into a contemporary art piece that can be used in countless ways; as a charm, necklace or bracelet pendant, hair accessory, wine glass marker…
In order to aid the color therapy healing aspect, each flower is hand crafted from cotton or silk thread. Only natural root dye is used for creating vibrant, long lasting and non-toxic colors.
We claim that Aicha’s Flowers possess spiritual powers. Each flower strives to inspire a unique sense of joy and beauty, and help us break free from the anxiety of our busy everyday lives. We are open to create your customised flower motifs based on your needs. We hope you wearing our beautiful flowers will awaken the true consiousness in you and bring out the remedy to your desires.
