What have you found to be the biggest challenge being a small business owner? How did you overcome it?
Finding the time to make new products and work on my shop while taking care of all of my family obligations.
How did you overcome it? Sadly I’m still working to overcoming it 😉
What do you enjoy the most about being a small business owner?
I love the feeling I get when somebody likes something I created enough to purchase it. To know that I’m not the only one that enjoys my works makes it worthwhile.
What advice do you have for fellow momtrepeneurs?
When I first started selling on Etsy I believed it was going to be the easiest thing in the world to do. Little did I realize there’s a lot to learn, and getting started really took a lot more time than I ever imagined. Eventually all the time and study into basics of selling on Etsy has really started pay off. My advice to anyone wanting to start their own shop would be be prepared to put a lot of time into your shop, and don’t get discouraged if ou don’t get sales right away, it can take months to get that first sale. Keep studying and experimenting with changes.
